The Sai Workshop Drop Ceiling & Panel Pass-Through Grommet is designed to create a clean, finished opening for routing cables, wiring, tubing, pipe, conduit, ducting, and other pass-through items through ceiling tiles and panels. Unlike ordinary press-in grommets, the dual-sided threaded design installs from both sides of the panel and tightens together for a more secure fit. This makes it especially useful for drop ceiling tiles, plywood and MDF panels, cabinet panels, electrical and low-voltage panels, and other vertical or horizontal panel applications. A recessed inner relief groove helps clear rough or slightly uneven drilled-hole edges so the flange can sit more neatly against the panel. The textured outer surface provides added grip when hand-tightening the two threaded sections. The clear opening is intentionally designed as a pass-through rather than a sealing or clamping fitting. Some clearance around cables, pipe, tubing, conduit, or ducting is normal and can make routing and installation easier. Always measure the outside dimensions of the item you plan to pass through and select an opening size with suitable clearance. Designed for panel thicknesses from approximately 12–20 mm (0.47–0.79 in).
