- This is one set of replacement flexible silicone rubber strips that are used as holder in the dental cassette. It includes; Two silicone rubber strips with the 10 channels on each, to lay down the instruments One strip for the opposite lid that designed to hold the instruments firmly when closed.
- USAGE: If you are using a cassette that is designed to hold 10 instruments that would be a perfect fit for it. If you are using a cassette that is designed for less than 10 instruments (5 instruments or 7 instruments) you can cut these strips according to the size of your cassette. If you are using a bigger cassette designed for more than 10 instruments (For example 15 or 20 instruments) you can add these stripes in line with one next to the other.
- ENGAGEMENT: It is easy to engage these strips in the cassette. Simply press the flexible round buttons against the holes or slots of the cassette and it will slip in. If you are having difficulty, use the soap water to make it easier and use the textured gloves to hold the strips in that case.
- AUTOCLAVABLE: These silicone strips are autoclavable. It is a usual phenomenon with all rubber products that they get hard with the recurrent autoclave cycles and need to be replaced. Higher temperature settings of autoclave can decrease the life cycle these strips.
