Follow the equipment manufacturer’s manual to properly drain used oil. Remove the old oil filter Use the appropriate tool to unscrew the old filter counterclockwise, then clean the mounting surface. Install the new AUC12916 oil filter Lightly apply clean engine oil to the gasket (if applicable). Screw the filter on by hand until it makes contact, then tighten according to the recommended specification. Oil Filling Method (Important) Install the oil filter first Then add one quart of engine oil through the dipstick tube Start the engine and run it for approximately 15 seconds Turn off the engine and recheck the oil level Adjust oil level as needed to reach the correct specification Check for leaks Start the engine and inspect for any oil leakage around the filter Final oil level check After shutdown, wait a few minutes and verify the oil level again. Top up if necessary.
