The Estes Destination Mars Leaper is a beginner level rocket that is ideal for new rocketeers who want something different, as well as seasoned fliers looking to add a unique spacecraft to their fleet. It is lightweight, durable, and designed to handle flight after flight. Built from rugged EPP foam and prefinished for a clean, mission ready look, the Leaper is engineered for quick setup and repeat flights. Simply insert the stabilizer rods and you are ready for the launch pad in minutes.

• BEGINNER MODEL-ROCKET-BUILDING KIT: The Estes Destination Mars Leaper gives kids ages 10+ ready to launch in minutes by simply inserting the stabilizer rods. It includes a pre-built rocket, stabilizer rods, recovery parachute, and instructions. It requires Estes rocket engines, starters, recovery wadding, launch pad system, and 4 high-quality 1.5-volt AA alkaline batteries (sold separately).
• SOARS UP TO 75 FT.: The Desination Mars Leaper model rocket features a pre-built design and was made for flying in small fields. It has a projected altitude of 75 ft. (23 m) with an A10-0T) Estes model rocket engine (sold separately) and is compatible with ann A10-PT rocket engine.
• READY TO ASSEMBLE: This beginner rocket kit can be completed in approximately 1 hour or less. Then pair it with an Estes Porta-Pad II Pad and Electron Beam Controller (sold separately).
• SAFETY FIRST, FUN ALWAYS: Our rockets and rocket launch accessories are designed to be used with the NAR (National Association of Rocketry) model-rocket safety code.
